BGG
BGG is a compact Combustion Gas-to-Air Plate Heat Exchanger designed for efficient heat transfer combined with very low pressure drop. The cold flow is designed to be larger than the hot flow with a pressure drop from 0,1 – 0,4 kPa. All of the material is part of the primary heat transfer surface and the plate corrugation is designed to maximize turbulence. Therefore BGG is normally smaller and yet more effective than traditional welded plate heat exchangers. BGG should not be used when a gastight design is required.
Due to its unique integrated cooling section BGG can handle extremely high inlet hot gas temperatures.
BGG 24 is normally delivered as a complete system with casing for parallel or counter flow arrangements.
